How Our Network Works

Your request begins with the signs

A new ceiling mark is enough to start a useful conversation. Tell Possiblygrey Restoration what changed, where it happened, and whether water is still entering. Mention that you are the homeowner and explain which spaces are affected.

Possiblygrey Restoration handles the referral connection. Independent providers in our network handle their own assessments and work. The service does not send its own restoration crew to your home.

Confirm who you are speaking with

When a local provider contacts you, ask for the business name. Confirm that it received your request and serves your address. Ask whether it handles the kind of water problem you described.

The provider may ask about standing water, the possible source, and access to the wet area. Say when you are unsure. A guess about the source can sound like a fact, so keep your account tied to what you noticed.

Find out what a visit involves

Ask what happens during an assessment and whether there is a charge. Confirm how any visit will be scheduled. Provider availability varies, and a referral alone does not reserve a time.

You can ask whether photos would help explain the problem. Take them only from a safe, dry spot. Do not enter standing water or touch wet electrical items to get a closer view. Describe any access concern before a visit is arranged.

Use questions that make the plan clear

You do not need trade knowledge to ask useful questions. Try these:

  • What appears to be wet, and how will you check?
  • What is water extraction likely to involve here?
  • How will you dry the walls or floor?
  • What can stay, and what may need removal?
  • How will you decide when drying is complete?
  • What charges are included in the written quote?

Water extraction means taking out standing water. Structural drying means drying building parts. Ask the provider to explain any other term before you agree to the plan.

The hiring choice stays with you

Review the provider's written scope, price, and payment terms. Check its insurance and any credentials needed for the work. Ask who will perform the job and who will answer questions if the plan changes.

You can seek another quote or decline proposed work. Keep copies of what you approve. A connection through Possiblygrey Restoration does not require you to accept a provider's offer.

Put your first question into words

Write down the change that concerns you most. Then add one thing you want the provider to explain. Request a callback to check provider availability, or use the request form to ask about an estimate.
